How do you fancy trying glass painting in your own home. All you need to do is invite a group of your friends around for a relaxing and fun evening in? I take the hassle out of the creative time by providing all the paints and materials that you need. I provide a selection of glass products for you to paint: mugs, small jugs, tea light holders, tumblers and sun catchers. Alternatively you can paint acetate sun catchers to hang in your window. All you have to do is choose the colours and then paint inside the picture outlines.

You don’t need to have any experience or creative flair to have fun at a Gladys Glass party and you get to take home some great little pieces of art! I will also provide you with cooking instructions so that the paint will bond to the glass and you cna then wash your glass without damaging it.

I also bring a selection of my glass product range with me on the night, to enable you to buy gifts for all those special occasions as well as for everyday use.

You can design your own glass gift that I will paint for you - just choose the colours, designs and any personal name or short message that you would like to be included on the glass. There are examples of these gifts in the Gift Ideas page (currently under construction).

Contact me if you live in the Reading (Berkshire) area to arrange a convenient date for your party and I will send you an information pack including invitations. All you need is at least 10 guests and a table (with chairs) large enough to be able to accommodate the creative time.

I will give you a glass gift to say thank you for hosting your party and 10% of the sales at the party go towards your order. Alternatively I will donate that 10% to a charity of your choice. I am happy to discuss this further, so please get in touch.

I offer parties for children over the age of 7. I work regularly at a primary school as a Learning Support Assistant and so not only do I enjoy working with children but I have also been CRB checked.

Starting from only £70 (for up to 10 children and then £7 for every additional child) I will provide all the materials needed and up to one hour of my time to supervise the creative time. You just need to provide a table and chairs.

For the younger children you get 2 acetate suncatchers each with the outlines for them to paint in. Alternatively, I can do a cartoon outline on a glass tumbler for each child to then paint. These make great party "bags" . Once dry, you can fill them with all sorts of goodies, for the children to take home at the end of the party. Just let me know what design you would like e.g. butterflies, flowers, rockets, cars etc.

I encourage the older, or more able, children to draw their own design on paper first and then use that to transfer onto the glass. The cost is the same as above and for that price you get one glass item per child. You can choose from glass tumblers, coasters, mugs, pint glasses or a selection for the children to choose on the day.

I will also provide a personalised glass tumbler for the Birthday child - I just need to know their name and favourite colour.

The children then get to take their artwork home and the glasses come with instructions on how to bake them - enabling the child to wash and use it safely.
